Oh, the Joy of PORN
Ha ha, just kidding. It's been a whole week since I've updated so I should probably let you know that nothing really happened. Oh yes, the joy of being me. My life is boring and people should run when they see me (I suck the life out of a fun moment.) Okay whatever, on to good stuff, I swear!! First of all, this week is the first week I have been somewhat confident about the classes I am in. Folk dance is the best, seriously. I didn't expect this class to be so damn fun. Aw..but it is. I so plan on finding some sort of folk dancing club back in San Diego. My technical writing class is definitely getting better. At first I was so freaking intimidated. All of the students were junior and senior engineers who had jobs and internships. I was one of 2 or 3 freshman. The teacher didn't help either. She was so hard to get a read on. Her voice was always sarcastic bordering on sardonic. AND...the weirdest part about the class is that we run like a company. We have to apply for the position as technical writing consultant with a resume, cover letter, and even interview. But it's much easier now that I have a better feel for the class. Aero is going much better as well. I was lost in all the physics of air. Having never study air properties before (like density, pressure, velocity, temperature) I was so in way over my head. BUT...the light has clicked and I now understand...so yay me!! It doesn't hurt that I think I got into the good group for our design project. They're all older and have taken way more classes than me. Another interesting thing about this class is that i'm one of only 2 girls. So yay me again!! The class right before mine only has one girl.

The only class that has been kind of pushed to the back burner is math. Oh, poor math. I know. Not again I said. I swear on all that is logical and divine that I will attend my math classes. 10am is not early. It is the perfect time for math. I also swear that when given the choice to read harry potter fan fiction particularly the kind with Hermione and a very bad Draco or do math.....I WILL DO MATH!!!

okay, to wrap it up, I have yet to start smoking so yet again, another yay for me. I'm glad your tough week is over Laura. It seemed pretty hectic. I hope next week is better. Call me, I miss you. Ooh...and to my other woman, thank you for always being there for me to vent or filling me with penicilin wisdom. We must play our drinking game again, too much fun.

Ariel
